Bluejay?

I have my chicvs outdoors in the mini coop they are almost 4 weeks old and have the ecoglow for heat if needed. I open the front door of the coop and put netting up so they can't get out but they can look around and get used to the enviroment. I was outside when I noticed a bluejay swoop down and try to get into the mini coop! Thank goodness for netting! Will a bluejay hurt the Chicks? I have my main run and coop completely covered with deer netting, it's better than the regular bird netting, stronger and lasts longer.

probably won't hurt the chicks if they are 4 weeks old but it can transmit diseases that can kill the chicks.

As long as the netting is blocking it they should be ok?

bird netting will keep them out so no problems
