BlueSplash Silkie ?

Silkie 101 for sure!
I have got several questions now that I have read all this...if you can breed the Splash out of the Splash...what color do you end up with? Light Blue?

Also what is the very correct Blue shade that is most desirable? I have several and I think they each have their own shade....some light and some really dark.
Which is the one I am looking for?

I'm not going to show them, just want to breed them correctly and not make a mess of my flock.

Also does anyone have any really good RED colored Silkies? I have only seen red Silkies that look like cross breeds.

Have questions about Show Girls too but maybe you don't want them here???

To help clarify, here is the correct chart for Blue gene breedings:

Blue X Blue = 50% Blue, 25% Black, 25% Splash
Blue X Black = 50% Blue, 50% Black

Blue X Splash = 50% Blue, 50% Splash



Black X Black = 100% Black

Splash X Splash = 100% Splash

Splash X Black = 100% Blue
