Just wanted to see if there are any other chicken people I'm my part of the woods? raising our poor chickens in this chilly weather!

Beautiful today, in the 70's that's Fahrenheit and sunny, a light breeze from the south. heading out of summer into fall. cold weather is headed our way soon. I suppose you are headed to spring.

its already meant to be spring....its about 10degrees C i am very jealous of you, I'm sure that your winter will be like our spring/summer!!!

I hear it is beautiful there too. lot's of farms and all.

load of sheep..... oh yeah it is pretty, my chicks don't seem to mind the cold too much, they are tough bunch!

Here it can be the heat in the summer. sometimes over 38C not bad unless it is also humid.

We have 2 fans in the hen house at the top ends. one on all the time, one on a thermostat. foam insulation under the ceiling which helps a lot. we also have shade cloth over the run, and when they are out they hang out at the edge of the woods to stay cooler.
