I’m new here but I think I see saddle feathers? Not sure though. Buff Orpingtons mature slower but females can have bright red combs and wattles early before male feathering. I’ll be watching to see what @JedJackson and @drumstick diva say!!!

Do you have other BOs? How does he compare in size to them? I think the legs look a little thick, making me think cockerel.

I had another that crowed so he had to move on. I was thinking this was looking more like a hen before but those tail feathers make me question... my other bo crowed about 3 weeks ago

How did the two compare in size? Is this one smaller than the one that crowed? Are the comb and wattles smaller? How about the legs?

Thought they were about the same but this one has pretty thick legs.
