BO Rooster has growth under tail feathers.

I only noticed this by accident when Albert was pecking the ground. It doesn't seem to bother him but doesn't look right to me. Does anyone know what it is and should I do anything?

Yep. Preen gland. You usually don't notice it because most are more inconspicuous. But all chickens have one in that location, even baby chicks. Nothing cuter in my book than baby chicks preening.
