BO x Red Comets ...okay cross?

I plan on crossing my show rooster with my laying hens and sell the females and keep the roos for meat, would they give a decent amount of meat? My BO is a true BO who is out of show stock, so basically he's huge!

well the red comets are decidedly smaller adn will probably reduce the size of the offspring accordingly.

Don't BOs take forever to reach full-size? I am new to BOs so I don't know. I know JGs are good for meat as long as you have a year to wait for them to fill out. Aren't BOs the same way?
