Bob Cat Problem

I have a bob cat killing our chickens,and only have 3 roosters because of it

. I need some advise on how to rid of it. I live close to the woods but this is the only one I see. Is there more that I should worry about? I REALLY NEED HELP!!!!!

Bobcats are very territorial (just like housecats) and there most likely isn't another around. I lost a rooster last year to one that jumped the fence with my dogs in the backyard, grabbed the chicken and jumped back over. It was unreal that it would be that bold. I grabbed the shotgun, let the dogs outside the fence and gave chase. I eventually found him, but hoped I had scared it enough not to come back and I was right. I fired the gun off a couple times for that extra scare and I never saw him again. A nice large piece of steak in the trap will do just fine, it must be a large piece though because the cat will need to think it is worth the risk. Good luck!
