Hi,
I am a first time Bob White "hatcher" and have 9 eggs in the incubator, starting August 27th. I candled the eggs at 7 days and again today (day 14) and all eggs are progressing well. My question is that the eggs are almost 100% full and dark with a small air pocket in the large end.
Typically, with chicken eggs this means they are a few days from hatching. I can't imagine that I have 7-10 days MORE to go before they hatch. Do I just need to be more patient? They are definitely Bob White, and not Cotournix.
Any comments would be appreciated.
