40 eggs are in the turning tray and 9 are laying on the wire. I have been turning the 9 by hand several times a day. The 23rd day of incubation for these eggs falls on the 6th. Today is March 2nd. Temps on my digital thermometer have been steady between 99 and 100 F. This morning I noticed an egg on the wire wobbling. Should I go ahead and lock all the eggs down or wait another day.

Would lockdown be okay four days out from hatch date?

Your choice, probably won't have much effect, I've locked down eggs a day early because I wasn't going to be around on lockdown day. Just remember that hundreds of thousands of bobs are hatched every year following the standard hatching protocol.

You can lock down eggs as much as 5 days before hatch and it will have no effect on the chicks inside the egg. So go ahead and lock down. :)
