Bobwhite quail escaped, help please

The size I was thinking about is around $12-$15 at a hardware store like Home Depot. Maybe $15 - $18 at a mom and pop place like a feed store. Larger ones for bigger animals, like raccoons, run around $40 - $45.

I think it's time to find a new pest control company.

Good news; after 3 days and 2 nights I finally got the loose quail back in the pen. He was gone all day today but finally showed up just as it got dark, appearing in the same spot by the door. After an hour or so of waiting he finally aligned himself in front of the open door to the empty pen which is when I jumped out from behind him, chased him in and closed the door. Phew. He seemed very happy to be back with the rest of his buddies once I moved him into his old pen again, although I did see two males fighting when I went in there a few hours later which I've never seen before with these quail. However, I don't know if either one was the one that had been loose and they may have just been agitated since it was dark and I had woken them up by turning on a light; they stopped and went quiet when the light went off again.

A double door entrance is definitely being built this weekend so here's to hoping I don't have to deal with this again any time soon!
