Bobwhite quail

So we had 16 quail hatch. They were all drinking and eating fine. But the past few days they are passing, one at a time. I don’t see panting and they don’t pile on top of each other. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Any insight would be appreciated. They are on chick starter but I do have a wild version on the way. Red heat lamp up as high as it can go. Thank you.

I had the same thing happen and lost all of mine you need to remove shavings and place a towel or something they won’t choke on down

That’s hard. Definitely do that next time. We have 12 right now. Thank you for the advice!
