Bobwhites are Hatching!

Well, its been a hard few weeks, and I checked the calendar and the bobwhites were supposed to hatch today. I ordered a dozen eggs from JJ, 3 were infertile, three quitters, he sent 15 so I had 9 viable eggs so far seven have hatched and one has died so I have 6 new chicks!

Way to go! I set my eggs from JJ on the 11th so will be a couple weeks for me. My first quail by the way. I am going to candle pretty soon. Any tips on humidity, etc?

I kept mine at 45% and 60% for lockdown. I have an upside down pipper right now...

He has the fastest quail I've ever seen. One got out of the bator and I chased it for thirty minutes.
