Half of these little buggers are shipped jumbo ginger coturnix the rest are home grown eggs (italian/pansy/roux lines) but they are all a bunch of little blondies! I had to mark them at hatch (had separate incubators) with a little blue marker to tell them apart until they can keep a band on. I got 5 healthy chicks out of 12 fertile shipped eggs so I'm pretty happy with that as the air cells were saddled or mobile indicating severe shipping trauma plus cold exposure and a week in transit. Also had 5 early quitters, 1 late quitter, and a deformed hatchling that died within 12 hours. Last time this happened I got 25% hatch rates so I'll take it! But everybody needs cute chick pics so here you go! I'm curious to see what the base patterns of the ginger chicks will be, definitely an italian or two, but not sure on the others.
