Bock Bock - new chicken owner

Hi Everyone:

I'm a new chicken owner and new member. Just wanted to say hello and thank many of you who post. I have learned so much from you.

I am in the process of having someone build me a chicken coop. My husband is ill and can't build me one, but if he wasn't sick, it would be grand. But I'm glad to be able to have someone build one, nonetheless. Right now I have 2 Wellsummers and 2 Columbians Wyandottes, and I love them to pieces.

That's great you found someone to build a coop for you. The general consensus is site built coops are better all way around than coops you just go out and purchase.
