Boiled Oregano leaf for 1 month-old chicks?

Hi everyone, I have a 1 month old chick that looks lethargic and wont eat. I was thinking of giving him boiled oregano - the liquid to help as a natural antibiotic because I currently don't have any medicine for them (its been a LONG time since I've had chicks tbh). Is this safe? Has anyone tried it before? I've only ever fed natural antibiotics to adult hens.

Try a little sugar water. 1 tsp sugar, a pinch each of baking soda and salt to 1 c warm eater. Stir to dissolve. Put some in a little cup (shot glass?) and dip his beak in it. It's basically electrolytes and may revive him a bit.
