It's happened to me! One of my chickens has started to crow! I'd been wondering why this little hen hadn't layed any eggs this week. I was at the barn feeding when I heard very clear crows coming from the chicken pen. I ran to watch, thinking our 9 wk old roo had figured it out. But no, this grouchy gal was the culprit. She's been making all the new chicken toe the line for weeks. I guess she's having an identity crisis.
