Bold Hawk - Lesson Learned

After my hen was attacked this spring, the hawk responsible for the attack was spotted WALKING around the chickens' enclosed run trying to figure out how to get in. It was right down eerie. He was stomping around the perimeter and my hens were freaking out. I went out when I heard the screaming.
 
Seriously? That is one very bold hawk. Mine are still hiding in the henhouse 2 days later because the big bully is still sitting up in the trees screeching to its mate all the live-long day. Finally came out yesterday at dusk for a brief snack of watermelon and yogurt, then scurried back inside again.
