(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I have had chickens and other fowl off and on my whole life.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

I currently have about 70 or 80 chickens, about 35-40 Muscovy ducks, a few mixed ducks, emu and Turkeys

(3) What breeds do you have?
I have a mixed flock

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I know people that are on it

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Raising dairy goats

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.


I am disabled. My farm is my therapy. I have 2 teenage boys and an amazing husband that take care of them for me. We also have horses, dairy goats and sheep as well as chickens, Muscovy, turkeys and emu.

Welcome boneless chkn, sounds like you could teach all of us a bit lol. That's quiet the farm you have. I envy you, wish I lived on a farm so I could have a few other animals besides chickens. Hope you :frow:welcomeenjoy the site, there are lots of friendly knowledgeable people here
