Hello!

We just got three chickens, and were given a bonus chick, we don’t know what breed she (I hope) is.

Any ideas??
Chick is 1 week old
Thanks for any help!

I can't help with breed, but most bonus/extra "packing peanut" chicks are usually cockerels.

Hopefully someone will be along soon to help with breed!

Probably a White [something], but might get some colored markings as it grows.

No feathered feet, no crest, no extra toes, appears to have a single comb--rules out many of the rarer types.

Could be a White Rock, a White Leghorn, or a Cornish Cross.

Could be a male of most kinds of sexlinks. (ISA Brown, Cinnamon Queen, Red Star, Gold Sexlink, Red Sexlink, Brown Sexlink--those and many others are names for sexlinks that have white males. All the names refer to the female color.)

Lots of other kinds of white chickens, or colored chickens with white chicks, also exist. It might be a few months before you get it completely figured out.
