BOOK REVIEW?

Has anyone bought or read the following book-

"An Introduction to Color Forms of the Domestic Fowl: A Look at Color Varieties and How They Are Made" by Brian Reeder.

If so, please give my your opinion and/or ideas.

And, is there a book review on any of the forums? I haven't run across one that I know of.

I read it and it is good. His color naming proposal didn't catch root, but so didn't mine...

I am friends with the author and have spent hours on the phone with him. His book is good from the aspect of genetics. He did not include any pictures, but explains the genetics of the chicken rather well. You may also want to consider my book, The Genetics of the Old English Game Bantam. It is available at authorhouse.com. It is mainly about the varieties of Old English bantams, but the genetics is the same for all chickens. Timothy L. Shelton
