So mine keep disapearing because an abandoned neighbor half broken fence that's grown over with Ivy and confusion. They get separated and cant find their way back soooooo....

Keeping them cooped up again during the day and when I get home from work I lock the bottom door and open the top...sprinkle treats inside. A few figure out how to get in but panic and cant get back out. Think I'm going to rinse and repeat for awhile and see if it helps them learn.

The chances of keeping them away from there are slim to none. I believe @R2elk mentioned making them “uncomfortable” to go there. Every time you see them going towards that fence, run at them screaming like a maniac until they go back where you want them to go. You’re going to have to rinse and repeat that every time. Also - maybe figure out how to put something on top of the fence where they can’t fly over.

You say it’s an abandoned neighbors fence, as in, no one lives there? Cause if it were me, I’d cut a section out of the fence and if anyone asked, I’d tell them it broke  but that’s just me.

I like your way of thinking but Its more complicated then that, it's a large portion and I'd need 3 neighbors to agree to it.

I put them in time out for a week hopefully it will reset their brain

Maybe I'll try playing hawk sounds in the brush...

In the Raising Guinea Fowl 101 thread, I believe there are mentions of people hanging CDs so that they can blow in the wind to discourage their guineas from going past set boundaries.
