How long will these take to hatch?
I thought 3 weeks but a friend told me he had been told booted bantams are only 19 days? I'll need to know so I can stop turning the eggs...
Thanks in advance!

eggs take 21 days....1-18 certain humidity,...last few days you bump it up...what does she mean by 19 days old?...they are in a bator, or she has had them collected to put in a bator for 19 days??? there's a difference.

what kind of bator do you have?

He meant that the eggs take 19 days from the first day on incubation until they hatch. I ordered the eggs online and have incubated them in a fan assisted incubator. Theres 6 of them. They are on the 14th day of incubation today- from what I can see only one is fertile. When should I stop turning?

Beka, I stop turning on the 16th day with bantam eggs. and bump the humidity up.

Let us know how it goes

The only way they hatch in 19 days is if your temperature is a little hot. Bantams and every other kind of chicken normally take 21 days under the correct conditions.

I have been hatching bantam chicks all summer at 100* and they at least start to hatch on day 19, usually finishing on day 20.
