Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, All Herding breeds, Tell Me About Yours

Mine's 8 months old. If there's no ball in sight, it's an apple being dropped at my feet. No apple, then a pine cone. No pine cone, then a stick. Since you're active, don't mind the shedding, or having it by your side 24/7... I'm sure you'll be happy with the choice.

Mine too runs the goat/llama fence, sometimes sneaking in. Loves every baby thing in sight. Car rides. He's super ball intense. I think he was born potty trained and to fetch/return.

See his face in the picture? He loves babies. Doesnt want to miss a thing. He helped raise a litter of kittens.

Hello :frow
As you know I have my Wilson although others on BYC aren't familiar with my boy. Wilson is a Border Collie/Aussie cross and hasn't slowed down yet at the age of 10. He hasn't had one health issue in 10 years either.
He is extremely intelligent to the point of annoying. He has to be tied up because he wanders off for hours at a time.
We call him Assie and not Lassie because he rings the doorbell each morning and is my alarm at 4:00am to go outside.
I've had him since he was 3 months old. He used to bite people. Has been shot, run over by the horses twice so has an old shoulder injury. Tar thrown on him. Run over by the boat when he jumped out to get a pelican. He is fearless and protective So fights other dogs he doesn't know.
He knows many tricks and uses them to his advantage..:gig
I definitely love Willy but will never own another Border Collie again.
I love Scotch Collie too and maybe one day I'd get one of those?
Definitely your doing right by not making a quick decision before jumping into something too quickly..:thumbsup
