Someday I'd like to put together something like this with an old bicycle wheel. Most pictures of these contraptions show that people routinely don't cover the spokes, with the bird only running on the tire (seems dangerous to me). This design has a platform covering the spokes that the bird runs on:

Thanks for the ideas everyone. Today I moved around their stuff in the coop. Added a bucket for the day. I've been trying to spend time in with them daily to socialize them, especially the roo. Since it's a holiday I brought some meal worms as a treat.
