Not an expert but pretty sure Sunflower seeds are not genetically modified. To the best of my knowledge that is soy corn and now some alfalfa. I think there is a possibility that the seeds are a hybrid and you may get a bit of a weird strain of sunflower. I am not sure of that however, I just know that most seeds nowadays unless some sort of heritage strain are hybridized for a myriad of reasons.

I am sure it would not hurt to try and see what you get on that first generation of stock.

I do know that in my garden virtually all of the plants that come up from hybrid seeds (and if I let them go) bear some rather different looking veggies than the original.

We just started givingour girls boss 2 weeks ago they were 9 weeks old then . they love it we just throww a handful in their run daily. have noticed that thier feathers really shine
