Do you think my 7 week old chicks are too young to have boss?

With Grit - you could give it a try. Mine are out in the yard and catch what falls from the bird feeder. They seemed physically too small to handle the seed @ 7 weeks but love them once they got a little older.

Not really. There will always be one in a group. There will be a very quiet on too.

mine seem to love it... they are a bit older... maybe 9 wks, but have been getting BOSS for a few weeks now.

They should be fine. Just provide some grit and they will love it !
