Bot fly eggs on horse?

I walk out every morning thinking my 3 at home are covered in bot fly eggs... but it is really just grass seeds stuck to them from the morning dew. My pastures are tall and thick right now, so the seeds are all over their legs, bellies and heads.

You will know a bot fly egg when you see it, as it will NOT come off easily. Hence the reason the "tool" used to remove bot fly eggs is called a bot-fly knife. I have several, and they do resemble a serated knife blade, and work like a charm!
