Hey all!

I just botched a batch of carrot cake by adding too much cinnamon...can I safely feed it to the ladies? I hate to throw it away. It would be 2 round cakes for 10 hens. What do you think?
Thanks!!

I love cinnamon just mail it to me.
Seriously, a little is fine, but too much sugar might get the flora and fauna in their system out of whack. You could freeze it and give them handfuls occasionally as a treat...when they are extra special good.

They'll love you even more if you do! I add lots of cinnamon to the feed I have made, and there's nothing in there that they can't have. What a mom!!

I'd break it up into chunks and freeze it. Then, when it's a hot day, frozen cake treat! They will love you!
