Hello friends !
I need help with this mystery. I have 2 americaunas (Gypsy and Cleo) who are healthy as can be. Eating drinking pooping foraging…. All the things. But NOT AN EGG SINCE NOVEMBER 16!😳
They will be a year old in march and we’re laying so good.
I just search the entire coop for like the 10th time. I searched the backyard where they get to free range a few times a week. Not every day. Only when we are home. No eggs. Not even a remnant of a blue/green shell. Nada.
I have asked all the other girls and they have no answers for me…😂
I know this sounds crazy and my mind is now making up all these crazy explanations like “maybe they are eating their eggs?” Or “maybe their egg color changed to brown😂
I am just so lost y’all.
Has anyone ever had this happen??

So your other birds are still laying?

Ameraucana (or Easter Eggers, where did you get birds?) are not known for stellar laying,
so despite their young age(many pullets lay all winter) they may have taken a break with the shorter days.

Pics of birds might help here.

I have 2 also and all of a sudden mine stopped. I also noticed that they are losing some of their feathers. It's a crazy time to molt, but that could explain why I have no eggs. They usually provide me with very large beautiful blue eggs at least 5 days a week. I'm in NJ
