Bottle raising rabbits, help me?

Nothing should be allowed to be this cute. There should be a law against it.

The big one topped 90g at this morning's pre breakfast weigh in. Cross your fingers it makes it to 100g and the size of a newborn kitten today! Even the smallest is over 84g now. I am so happy they are doing so well. 1 week old tonight.

Buns are well. Fatty McFatterton AKA TurboBun is over 120g as of the pre breakfast weigh in this morning. The other two are both over 110g. I no longer have to push down on the syringe plunger when they go into Turbo Suck mode. Eyes will be open any time now. Internet says around 10 days their eyes should open, but I noticed with other formula raised babies that they tend to be slightly smaller than parent raised babies, but reach certain milestones sooner. We will see soon enough. Or I guess, they will see soon enough. :]

I really am starting to think they will all live. Photos attached are some from today, the rest from the past few days.

Oh, and their current formula is mostly KMR, a fair bit of powdered goat colostrum, acidophilus, benebac every other day or so in one feeding, and a splash of heavy cream.

They look great! I successfully "bottle-raised" a kit from day 2 until weaning. The formula I used was:

1/2 cup evaporated goat's milk (undiluted)
1 egg yolk
1/2 teaspoon corn syrup

The kit did grow slower than others, but he matured into a healthy adult.
Since your formula is working, I would stick to it. Good luck!

Great news! They look very good. Nice job, you did great. Very glad you are documenting this, although of course I hope no one else has to go through this... it is great that the info is out there for others. Here is hoping that they make healthy and terrific (as well as adorable) pets! Someone will be very happy!

They are just, the sweetest little babies...except for maybe, baby chicks! LOL!

My dad used to raise rabbits when I was a child. So-o-o-o cute!

What a good feeling to see them thriving.

2 of them are now reacting to sound. Turbo is way sleepier than the other two, and I know why: he is growing at a super fast rate! Turbo is now over 139g!! The other two are not far behind, the smallest is over 128g.

Last feeding they each took 10cc.

Some fun stats:

The dark one has gained 62.92g, Turbo has gained 70.21g and more than doubled in size, and Shiro has gained 66.32g and is also more than 2x the size from when I started feeding them.

All together on a scale they weigh about .88 pounds.

I have fed into them 441 cc's of formula, or slightly less than a half liter.
