Bottom line it for newbie

My Husband brought home a pair of 5 year old red golden pheasants last night(he was just supposed to pay for them and pick them up on Friday). Mind you, I was expecting peafowl. Needless to say, I wasn't prepared. So right now, they're in an 8' x 8' x 8' aviary in the garage. They have a 2' x 3' x 18" wooden box on legs and I left their transport box in there as well.
So what I need to know, in basic terms, is:
What kind of feed should they have? (right now they have manna pro conditioner) What percent of protein, how much fresh fruit/veggies and when should I introduce them?
What size house and run do they need? A space fomula would be good.
Does their house need to be insulated or at the least enclosed? We get a lot of snow and cold around here in the winter.
How important is cover and how much do they need?
Will they be bothered by the occasional chicken walking by, or will I have to install a moat? (I have a couple of hens that are escape artists

)
And super dumb question: What kind of dishes or feeders does everybody use? what do they prefer?
Be forwarned; this is just the beginning. I know I can come up with some more silly questions.

8x8 is fine for them if youcan go bigger fine but 8x8 will do for them ,winter wont bother them as long as you have them a place to get in out of the elements (a partly coverd top and a good wind break should be all they need) as for feed i keep mine on a sratch feed and a simple wild bird mixture and on medicated game bird starter 24 to 28 percent protien yr round i have had no problems with this mix and rarley have sick or dead birds

a random chicken should not bother them especally when they get settled and probably be fore long they will eat out of your hand.

We want to give them a larger pen out in the yard. So 24% to 28% feed is good. Is that what I need to look for, incase I can't find gamebird feed? Does it have to be medicated? And speaking of medication, do I have to worm them or give them any other medicines on a regular basis? I know peafowl and turkeys need to be protected from blackhead(?), do pheasants?
With them being about 5 years old, will they still produce offspring? That would be too cool.

yes they should produce offspring for several more yrs.

24 to 28 % protien is good and that is gamebird food, not sure of your feed store but mine as soutern states game bird food and tsc as dumar most come in pellet from but starter comes in crumbles, at that age it does not have to be medicated but in my experience it helps and i have wonderfull sucess with it, though it cost moree than conditioner or mantaince mixing in alittle scratch feed and wild bird mixs will also give added nutients and a differnt diet as well. i use safe gaurd for goats to worm them 3ccto a gallon of water for 2 days repeat in 10 days your, local tsc should have it its in a little white bottle with a yellow label fenbenzole not sure of spelling is active drug.

as for blackhead they can and do get it, chickenzoo on here was telling me that fishzole a fish med as the drug to help with that i just ordered some off of ebay not sure of dosage off the top of my head maybe she will see this and chime in on it
