Two of my chickens attacked another and really tore up her bottom.
I have isolated her, washed her and put honey on her butt. It has been three days and this morning I found maggots. Took out as many as I could, washed her and put her back in crate.
She seems comfortable, has not eaten or drank that I can tell. Do I keep washing and getting out maggots or do we cull her? I had left her out and flys got on her - brought her in immediately but now I am afraid that is how the maggots came. Thank you for your very need response. Susie
