Botulism in ducklings?

I’d def start them on some some Nutritional yeast and for the one having issues get it started on the B complex and vit E hopefully there will be improvement may not be 100%. But let’s hope so. Feed formulated for chickens doesn’t have enough niacin for our water fowl. Babies. So we have to supplement. My ducks are all adults and they still get nutritional yeast over their feed. So good for them. I have to use chicken/ chicks feed many of us do.

Started her on both the B complex and Vitamin E, I’ll post an update on her as soon as I see any improvement! You guys rock, thank you so much! 😊

Did you notice her having problems when you first got her? Just wondering if this could be a birth defect? can you tell any difference at all? don't give up though it can take several weeks before improvement depending on how long before you started the B complex.
@Justin tell me what you are thinking?

When I got them they were 2 happy little ducklings. First couple of days, nothing out of the norm. Then 5 or 6 days later she’s barely able to stand, struggling to hold her head up, hunched over. She definitely is building some muscle because she can support her body weight better, and doesn’t tire out as quickly. She’s been very vocal the past couple hours which is new. I just hope she isn’t suffering.

I snagged this video right before cleaning their brooder, they both seemed fine. I want to say this was 1 or 2 days before the illness showed up.

Just some info on my homestead, I have a flock of 7 chicken (been raising chicken since I was 14), and 2 pekin ducks that I got at the beginning of summer from a local farm.

I doubt this has anything to do with your husbandry. That video went so fast I could just get a glimps of them and they were gone. She either has a severe Case of niacin deficiency or she has some kind of bone deformity. Similar to scoliosis just didn’t show up until she started growing by leaps and bounds.
@casportpony would you have a look please.

This may be a stupid question, but would I be able to put them back together? Or would it be best to wait out to see more improvement? I just don't want either of them feeling lonely or depressed.
