Botulism

I will try to see if I can get her an appointment tomorrow, but there are no emergency duck service available.

Believe it or not, there is not a plethora of poultry vets in the Bay Area. The ones I've been to so far have not seemed all that knowledgeable. The first one I went to asked me if my runner duck always stood like that. I knew I was in trouble when he said that.
Dr. Speer is a well known avian vet:

He literally wrote a book an avian medicine:

Thanks! I hope to get an appointment tomorrow. My duck was absolutely full of energy this morning and I just noticed her lameness later on in the afternoon, when it was too late for me to make an appointment. They do not have emergency hours, unfortunately.

I had not gone to Oakley previously because there were closer vets nearby, that I wanted to try out.
