So, I had 2 old chickens, one (5 years old) that doesn't lay anymore and one (3-4 years old) that used to lay every day untill a month ago, and now she lays several in a week.

Because of our shortage of eggs, I decided to buy 2 more chickens. They aren't fully grown yet, but they are supposed to start laying in 1-2 months.

So yesterday I put them with the older chickens, there is no pecking, but they act strange and anti-social. They sit together at the back of the chicken coop (not inside the coop tough) (which is a dog's house since one of the older chickens is too fat to fit in a normal coop). They don't eat as much as the older chickens either.

How long will it take for them to adjust to their new enviroment?

They sound pretty normal to me. Yup, they will hang together and be a team now.

Sometimes the Original Flock will keep the Newbies from food so make sure the new kids on teh block are getting theirs. Otherwise, sounds very normal!
