Bought 6 chicks last Friday, I'm a first time owner & need some help!

Okay good! I'll get them grit though this week, and I'll be home Friday night with it. I think they are older then 1wk....I mean all except 2 have feathers...The store said 'Chicks come in on May 18th'...so maybe they were born a couple days before May 18th, or born on that day, I don't know...but I'll certainly post pics when I find my camera.
 
Hi everyone! Okay went by the feed store I got them from...the reds are Rhode Island Reds, like I remembered...and the black/white ones are called Black Prostrolopes...I can't remember how to spell it! Anyone know a type of chicken that is like the P word I spelled above?...I can't remember how to spell it, but that is what their cage said...and the yellow ones were mixed with some other whites, blacks, reds, and their cage wasn't labeled....so I have no clue what the yellow ones are still...but I will see once they get older.

Do you have chick starter (feed) for them? I am concerned that you wrote that you have a "feed thing" and mentioned feeding them all this 'stuff.' Please tell me that you have chick food?
 
Yes, I have chick food...just gave them some egg yolk, carrot shreds, and some shredded cheese as well...but I'm not giving them anything else but the chick food now. But anyway, when I said 'food thing', I meant the chick food bowl...with the openings...I don't know what they are called...I guess chicken food & water bowls?...
