I'm very excited! I bought 2 vinyl dual paned windows, 6 a/c vents, 2 long poles (for roosting), 1 cabinet (for nest boxes), 2 - 8ft metal roofing pieces (1 piece 36" wide, the other 30"), a huge roll of 4 ft wire fencing, 1 wooden door, and 4 - 5 gal buckets - all for $75! He will have wood siding next week! They are tearing down 23 very old duplexes and just salvaging everything out of them.
Any ideas on what else to look for?
Would you use the a/c vents on the bottom or the top of the coop? or should I get more and use them on both top and bottom? He only charged me 50 cents per vent (I have a total of 8 - bought 2 at habitat for humanity).
