Bought wrong starter, feed store closed Sundays

I have some quail eggs in the incubator. I purchased a bag of game bird starter but must have loaded the wrong bag and got medicated chicken starter.

There is an egg pipping now. The feed stores are closed Sundays so am wondering is there anything I can give them temporarily if they hatch by tomorrow? Boiled egg yolk?

I only have layer pellets besides the medicated starter. Day 18 is Monday.

Boiled egg yolk is good. It should get them through one day until you can get the game bird starter that you intended to get.

The last time I went to get feed, it took the guy three trips to get me the right stuff. He started with chicken feed, then came back with game bird pellets, then finally got the game bird crumble.

I lucked out and found a feed store open an hour and a half away. I grabbed game bird food they sell but it is a "medicated gamebird/turkey starter". I read about the medicated potentially causing sterility but don't think I can get my hands on anything else before an amazon delivery which says Feb 1 at earliest
