Bourbon Reds beak color?

My bourbon reds are looking beautiful, but today I noticed that their beaks are darker at the base and lighter at the tip....like it's a gradual change looks like....enough so I never have noticed it previously. Is this normal? It's extremely challenging to find pictures of beaks without the big snood hanging over!!

My copy of the British poultry standards (UK equivalent of the American Standards of Perfection) says that the beak of Bourbon reds are horn. Horn usually is whitish with black/brown shading, so your description seems to fit.

If you could send a photo it would be helpful for me to notice anything wrong if there is, but I don’t think there’s an issue.
