I noticed this on one of my turkeys about a week or so ago. It has bumps all over its head with what looks like scabs. I thought she was being picked on and was going to move her. Well, I had been working pretty long hours lately and forgot all about it. I started to do some investigating on this site, but haven't come up with anything that it could be. Blackhead doesn't seem to be the problem. This morning I spotted some on a couple of more of my turkeys.
They are about 6 months old and this is my first set of turkeys. I hope the pics turn out and you can see what I have.

Is this normal or do I have problems. What do I do?

That is NOT normal. Looks like you have Fowl Pox. You can look up info on it on Google.

Thanks for the info. Looks like that is what I got. Glad to hear they will be OK. You can do all the right things and still get caught with your pants down. I missed that section in poultry 101.

Yep you got the pox. No it is not fatal or it wasn't in my birds. About a third of mine got it last year but no sign of it this year. I did not treat and it just went away after about a month.
