Hi everyone! I’m running a small-scale boutique aviary called The Button Box.

I specialize in "Living Art"—indoor Button Quail (Chinese Painted Quail) in a variety of designer colors. I focus on high-quality care, specifically starting my chicks on 30% protein and getting them socialized early with fresh herbs and cucumbers.

Available Now / Hatching to Order:​

• "Started" Chicks: $10.00 / chick
  
  • These are 1 week old and past the "danger zone." Highly recommended for those new to Buttons!
• "Popcorn" Chicks: $7.50 / chick
  
  • Day-old unsexed. Must be picked up within 24 hours of hatch.
• Hatching Eggs: $25.00 / doz ($20/doz for 2+)
  
  • High-fertility Rainbow Mix.
• Eating Eggs: $8.00 / doz

The "Full Clutch" Policy​

Because I am a small-scale breeder, I hatch to order. I set a minimum of 6 eggs per custom order. By placing a $15 non-refundable deposit, you agree to purchase every chick that successfully hatches from your set. This ensures these social little birds stay with their hatch-mates!

Breeder Notes:​

• Indoor Birds: Please remember Buttons are tropical and cannot live outdoors in our Colorado winters.
• Setup: They require a "boink-proof" cage (soft top or low ceiling) and high-protein game bird starter.
• Bio-Security: I maintain a clean, closed aviary to ensure the health of my flock and yours.
