Just for fun! 6 weeks old and starting to separate into pairs!

How cute!

I have a 'flock' of coturnix, and I remembered when they were that little. My quail have the exact same canning jar box in their coop for their dirt baths. Funny.
I've never seen all of mine in their box at once. Must be warm all crammed together?

I was wondering the same thing! I made hubby come look because I just couldn't believe it..

Mine see a camera and scatter!

Beautiful babies ! They sure have grown.

You'll have to share/show us how they pair up.

They were hatched and still live in my "dining room". They are used to seeing me daily, running to and fro. When they see me in the morning, they start pacing along the from of their glass, as if they don't have any food. I am able to reach in from above to add things, water, food, worms, millet, leaves, grass, etc, and they don't spaz out. They do not like to be caught or held though, which I only do by necessity. I LOVE all the calls they make, even at night.
