Boy do ducks take their time hatching pics added

I just hatched out 2 ducklings, offspring of my Khaki Campbell duck and runner drake. One started to pip Monday and just hatched about 3:00 today. I was getting very worried but both are doing great. Not sure who they look like yet. Am hoping both are girls. This was my first time hatching ducks. Guess I did ok. Both eggs I set hatched.

Mine started hatching Monday. they took until this Morning "Wednesady" to hatch.

My runner eggs just went into lock down today. I am SOOOO nervous. But I am glad I read this, hopefully it will help me be patient.

They do take a long time don't they. I hatched some Runners a couple of weeks ago. First time for me and I said the same thing......... lol. Your ducks are really cute. Congrats on the hatch.
