Boy? Girl? Type?

Anyone have pics of a GSL pullet @ 7-8 weeks? a Buff orp roo @ 7-8 weeks?

I am trying to figure out if "Princess" is a boy and what type of chicken it is. It has always been bigger and was the first and fastest still at getting all the feathers. When I first got it it was golden yellow and fuzzy.

black & white = barred plymouth rocks (br), commonly referred to to as barred rocks
dark red = rhode island reds (rir)
light red = red sex links (rsl), which are crosses between rir rooster and a white hen like a leghorn, or white plymouth rock etc.

Lady Princess is a cock (a rooster under 1 year of age)...don't know the breed -- the black tail feather throws me off...almost looks like a buff orpington, but can't be with that black feather.

google "chicken breeds" and it will lead you to some websites that show pictures of breed in alphabetical order for you to become familiar...lots of fun! mypetchicken.com is a good one.

I am bummed that Princess is a cock. He by far is my favorite and I cannot have a rooster where I live.

I will have to find him a new home. Anyone in Bakersfield CA out there want an incredibly friendly cock? Not sure of the breed, but he is about 8 weeks old.

Princess may be a pullet, but not sure, some pullets make big comb and wattles at early age, I think she is a pullet and it's comb will remain like this and no longer bigger than . In general I will say it's 70 % pullet.

Sorry about my English , I'm Swiss ( from Switzerland ) !!

Looks like two barred rock and three production red. One of the red looks to be a roo...Im not sure about the barred as i know pullets can have large combs.
