Boy or a Girl???

Well, if it makes you feel better I have a 2 day old **yes, 2 day old** chick that's crowing in its chirpy little baby voice. Lol

Some don't crow until 4 mos or later. Most of mine practicing around 7-15 weeks.

Well, depends on the bird (when they start to crow). I've had them wait til they were around 16 weeks, & I currently have one that has found his crower at only 6 weeks

He is by far the earliest crower I've ever had, but I also knew he was a he at only a few days old cause he matured so quickly. Sorry you need to re-home him, it stinks when you've become attached.

Well, I guess I have to keep him until he starts to crow. How heartbreaking...I've grown to love them all so much...

It unfornately doesn't matter on breed or age if they have hackle and saddle feathers like yours does. It is a rooster. HE is not hen feathered.

Thank you all for all the compliments on him...he's so beautiful to me too. I'm so going to miss him. Anyone here in Vegas want to give him a good home?
