Ok, they are now 9 weeks. I'm eager to know if these beautiful creatures are "he's" or "she's" because if they are roos I'm gonna get some more chicks so I don't have to do the whole process again next year...What do you think!?!? :O) Sometimes they do both seem to interact more with our Cuckoo Marans rooster who is the same age compared to the other chicks, and seem to dominate the roosting pole with him, etc. but the Marans still definitely dominates. Help!

With combs that red at 9 weeks, I'd say Roos. But could be wrong.

Everybody is so sure!? That is good but sad news...I've heard others say b&w EE's are very hard to sex, but you all are pretty strait forward. Thanks.

Yes, they have rooster combs. The first one also has a straight comb, which some people say means his offspring won't have a good chance of laying a colored egg.

If you look at #2, you can see 3 rows of bumps on his comb. A pullet only has one. Sorry

x2. Yes, the color is tricky to sex by color, but there's no mistaking those combs.
