Rooster or Hen in the foreground? I’m confused. Sapphire Gem chickens

How old are they? What breed? A closeup of the feathers on neck and saddle would be much more helpful, though such a large red comb likely indicates a cockerel. If you see curved sickle feathers shooting out of the tail, that's also confirmation.

Yeah, I still lean toward that being a cockerel, too. At that age, the pointed neck and saddle feathers aren't real obvious yet. On the flip side, a pullet at that age won't have such a red comb. Pullets only get red combs at point of lay, four months at the very earliest.

Left one looks like a roo to me. the other looks more like a hen. Good luck they are beautiful
