I believe it is a cross of Bantam and Rock but I don't know if it is boy or girl.
11 weeks old very aggressive to the other chicks. Always wants to rumble.
Roooooooster. At that age, pullets never have wattles and comb like that. What kind of bantam? Silkie, perhaps? I see five toes, so that's what I'm guessing.
Saddle feathers are in front of the roosters tail head. They are pointed and finer feathers hanging over his back like a saddle.
See on this rooster. The light gold feathers in front of his tail and behind his wing.
Not necessarily, with 5 toes and feathered feet, he is at least part silkie, sultan or faverolle. If silkie comb could have come from that parent. Not to say that the barring couldn't have come from dominique, just don't base it upon the comb.
Barring could be from rock or dominique or marans or ... I agree w/ Speckled Hen that it probably has some silkie in it's background, but I bet it is more than one generation back.
I undertand what you are saying, but didn't think that walnut comb and single comb could interact and result in a modified rose.. But I do see what you are saying.
