Dont know if this is urban legend, but I thought I heard somewhere that the females have a black stripe/shadow on their legs.

I have 2 barred rock babies that both have the black marks on the legs.

I dont know, I hope mine are pullets too!!!

ah, guess only time will tell now. s(he) is the smallest of the group but very confident and will spar with the largest in the group with no fear. this chick does not back down! aw man...i sure hope it's a girl. oh - and she has the 'shaddow' markings on the legs - fingers crossed!!
