So about a month ago we got 3 “pullets” from a local chicken keeper. One batted rock and two lavender Orpingtons. We are pretty sure the barred is a girl and the other is a rooster. We weren’t sure about the third because we don’t know how old she is. She’s started getting black feathers on “her” wings and tail. I’m worried that these are wing splotches starting to come in, with our main rooster it started with a few white feathers just like this. I also read lavenders are clean faces with no muffs or beards, (not 100% sure but I thought muffs were the chubby cheek feathers) but she appears to have muffs. Here are some pictures is she a boy or is she not truly a lavender opington and just a mix, or both?

Really! Cool! Could you tell me if this other one is also not actually not an opington? We got “her” at the same time and even though we were promised pullets I am pretty sure this one is a roo (could be wrong though).View attachment 2337448
Looks like a cockerel, it could also be a fast to mature pullet. I had myself a fast to mature pullet.

What color are your bird's legs? If they're green it's most likely an EE.
